Dual cameras are all the rage these days. Particularly, there is something about dual cameras that makes Chinese mobile phone manufacturers fall for them. Almost all Chinese mobiles have been getting a dual rear camera in the last couple of months. However, one brand ALCATEL, owned by China-based TCL corporation has taken the game to a whole new level. Their smartphone Alcatel Flash will have four cameras and ten processor cores!
If you had known Alcatel before, you would have known it for the low-budget smartphones it manufactures or for it owning the brand name of Blackberry. But from now on it will be known to be the manufacturer of ‘The world’s first smartphone with dual front and back cameras’. The mobile named Alcatel Flash, which is not a bit related to the smartphone by the same name released by the same company in 2014 has been tacitly announced for sale in specific parts of the world. Why the company is hushed about something as good as this is unknown but it may have wanted to find out the response before blaring its innovation.
Only nowadays, companies have been providing dual flashes for smartphones. But if you have been concerned about your poor quality selfies, don’t worry. Alcatel Flash has a 8 MP+5 MP Sony sensor with f/2.0 lenses. Not to mention the dual tone LED flashes that are sure to provide the much-needed lighting for pictures when you are at a party or simply indoors. The rear cameras are 13 MP+13 MP sensors guarded by f/2.0 lenses. One is of monochrome type while the other is of RGB type. The RGB one is a Sony IMX258 sensor. Again, rear cameras are provided with LED flash. The biggest thig is that it is capable of 4K recording!
The processor of the smartphone also plays it cool. Under the cover is a MediaTek Helio X20 processor which with its tri-cluster architecture can cater to the needs of demanding applications. The deca-core processor makes multi-tasking a relatively easy affair. With a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory, the smartphone has the memory specifications of an average smartphone. The display is a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1080p which is quite impressive and offers good visuals. All these appreciable specifications put Alcatel Flash in the medium-budget smartphone group.
The only downsides are the phone’s 3100 mAh battery and the not-so-lovely design. However, if you are in for the camera, this is a top seed.
