Who is Next The Copycat in Smartphone Market? DOOGEE MIX?

Doogee has been coming up with a lot of products with stunning designs and good specifications in the recent days. While it is certainly a good thing to tell about a relatively new company, there is a subtle catch. If the appreciation comes for innovation, it is truly a good thing. But if the credit indirectly points out to a different company, then it is an appreciation for the other company. That is the situation now for Doogee which has caught the attention of several smartphone enthusiasts for its Doogee MIX which is expected to come out anytime soon. The thing is that Doogee MIX is an almost exact reproduction of Xiaomi’s hit device Xiaomi Mi MIX. While Xiaomi itself has been called out for its imitation of western smartphone designs, it now finds itself in a situation where its own design is being copied. Whether or not this is a subtle indication of Mi MIX’s design is up to you to decide.

Doogee MIX can be called the sibling of Xiaomi MIX. These two smartphones not only share the same last name but also a similar design except for the size. However, Doogee is not to be blamed as it has, in fact, flattered Xiaomi with its imitation of Doogee MIX.

BEZELLESS DOOGEE MIX

The new Doogee MIX sports a triple bezel-less design with no bezels at the top, left and right sides of the device. At the bottom, there is a bezel that houses the physical home button which doubles as the fingerprint scanner. Also, the front facing camera is housed in the lower bezel as is evident from a real life leaked photo of the Doogee MIX. The piezoelectric ceramic driver in the Mi MIX has been replaced by a regular earpiece on top of the display. Another visible difference between the Doogee MIX and Xiaomi MIX is the display size. Doogee MIX is expected to have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display by Samsung. The small display size allows for easy handling of the device.

Doogee MIX will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P25/X30 processor with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. On the rear, Doogee MIX will have a dual-lens camera system with 16MP+8MP sensors. A notable thing is its price which is expected to be around $200 which makes Doogee MIX a real champion as it combines affordability with sophistication.
